How can I properly care for my candles?
The first burn is the most important burn. Follow these tips to experience the full life cycle of your candle and to avoid tunneling.
- Burn the candle for up to 4 hours, until the candle reaches a full melt pool. Please note that with Coco Apricot Creme wax there may be leftover wax on the sides of the jar but as the wick burns, the sides of the jar heats up, and melts it away.
- We recommend using a wick snuffer to minimize smoke after extinguishing the candle.
- Trim the burned piece of the wick after the candle cools.
Candle Safety Reminders:
- Always burn your candle within sight and keep away from children, pets, and flammable objects.
- Keep your candles free from foreign materials such as matches and wick trimmings.
- Burn candles on a flame resistant surface and keep away from open windows.
- Stop using candle when 1/4" wax remains or when the wick holder is visible after candle cools.
